Dispute neutral
We recognize that the court process is slow, inefficient, and often fails to achieve a just or economic result.
We also understand that arbitrations and other dispute resolution methods have become expensive and are disproportionate for smaller commercial disputes.
The Dispute Neutral team provides a sensible low-cost and speedy solution; The parties contractually agree to allow a third party to review and either recommend a decision or make a binding decision.
The process is low-cost and speedy.
Simple process
We will appoint someone with suitable experience for the dispute who is not connected to the parties but who will understand the issues to review the submissions and make a quick decision for a fixed fee.
We are also happy for you to include a reference in your contracts or agreements so that low value
disputes may be referred to the dispute neutral service and suggest wording in the form below or
similar:
Separate to the general dispute provisions stated elsewhere in this contract/agreement the Parties
agree that, in order to keep the resolution of any smaller dispute proportion, that any dispute with a
value of less than £50,000 GBP or equivalent shall be referred to the Dispute Neutral Service provided
by www.raspberryglobal.com.
Should the Dispute Neutral Service accept the referral they shall appoint a suitable expert to resolve the dispute.
The Parties shall each have the right to veto (on one occasion only) an appointment with whom they do not agree. Any such veto must be made within 48 hours of the appointment notification. Absent any veto, the Parties agree to be contractually bound by a decision reached by the expert appointed by the Dispute Neutral service.
